Thank you to everyone who came out to see the premiere of my video art project, "The Fold". I also showed some snippets from "Return of the Dark Owl".

Saturday was just a warm up of what's to come. You can look forward to more projection art from me on the streets of Los Angeles this season. Also look out for my moving fashion piece I will be directing for Weltenbuerger's display windows this coming season.

In addition to "Return of the Dark Owl", I'm working on another motion project called "The Fold". It's a series of short motion art films. This is the teaser for a piece called "Fingerbang". I photographed Chris tonight as Badger Boy. Once he got here, his features were more delicate than I anticipated. So, I took a different direction with his make-up to accent his lips rather than draw over his jawline with the gnashing teeth as I originally drew in my sketch. We had a great shoot and I got some fantastic images to work with. More soon...

Wolf Ears

The better to hear you with... I just recycled my MAC Cosmetics bag my make-up came in and turned it into a pait of wolf ears for tonights photo shoot with Wolf Boy.

Return of the Dark Owl and Other Legends Lost

Welcome to "Return of the Dark Owl and Other Legends Lost". This is my new project. I am Xhico. I'm a Los Angeles based artist in the Silver Lake area near Sunset Junction. For this new project I will be using make-up artistry and costuming to create imagery of creatures of my imagination. I will tell you more about these beings later. I will be creating photos and video of these characters and in the end will have a gallery exhibit and multi-media installation.
